The GreyOrange Linear Sorter is built on the backbone of tried and tested pneumatic arms technology with next-generation of IoT sensors and advanced software, offering unmatched throughputs, package-handling capability and reliability. It routes packages based on industry, defined sortation logics such as destination, volume, weight or any other custom logic based on your business dynamics. The system is completely modular and scalable and comes in three standard sorting configurations of 1500, 3000 or 6000 packets per hour with up to 500 end-destinations.
Sortation processes can be defined based on the vendor cut-off time and distribution center policies.
Creation of profiles to support inbound and outbound processes; switch between different profiles in less than few minutes.
Automated image capturing and archiving for auditing and enabling pilferage control.
As your business scales, increase sorter arms or Pick-Put-To-Light(PPTL) systems to handle increased load or sorting destinations.
Role-based access control and encrypted communication over secure HTTPS protocol between customer enterprise system and Sorter Management Software.
Monitor sorter operations, system health and productivity locally or remotely through dashboards and visualization; get alert notifications in real-time for prompt actions.
By automating the sorting process in your warehouse, with the same amount of resources you can increase throughput manifolds.
With zero downtime, high productivity and maximizing space utilization, automating your sortation process can significantly boost business performance.
Linear sorter system captures volumetric and dead weight of each order along with dimensions, helping in knowing exact shipping costs upfront.
Enables you to resolve any disputes in minimum time using image archiving capability.
The GreyOrange Linear Sorter is affordable and truly scalable. It offers high return on investment and a low total cost of ownership.
Shows dashboards for end-to-end monitoring.
Comprises of an accumulator and input conveyor belt for continuous flow of packets. Spaces out or places packets together, depending upon the packet size. The only one of its kind of a solution in the industry that can decrease gaps between packets.
Identifies packets using either 1D barcode, 2D barcode or both. Also captures packet images for archiving.
Captures both the gross weight and volumetric weight of the packets. Records dimensions (length, width, height) of the packet and real volume for better bag utilisation.
The system is equipped with pneumatic arms on either side to sort the packets. Pneumatic arms involve no maintenance cost, have low running cost and zero-downtime as compared to other mechanical assembly system.
Sorter’s arms divert shipments into chutes to maximise productivity at the sub-sortation bays. Chutes can be padded for fragile items and their bottoms can be lengthened. Chutes can also be unmanned or manned (depending on the throughput).
Sub-sortation bagging unit facilitates secondary sorting and bagging operations. PPTL ensures sorting accuracy by alerting the operators to close the bags once the bags are full, using any bag closing logic such as volumetric weight, number of shipments or dispatch time.
